Tickets for the Seaside Home Raffle will be available from Wednesday, June 3, 2009 through 12:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Mailed ticket requests must be received by Midnight, Saturday, April 3, 2010. The Seaside Home Raffle drawing will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Boys & Girls Clubs main office in Tallahassee. In the event that the 125,000 tickets are sold before April 8, 2010, the raffle drawing will occur 30 days from that date but no later than April 8, 2010, in Tallahassee, Florida. The raffle is open to the public and will be supervised by a Florida licensed CPA firm. The raffle drawing and announcement of the winner will be webcast live and made available for replay at www.BeachRaffle.org.

Prize: 599 Forest Street in Seaside, Florida or Cash.
The prize, Amber Waves, 599 Forest Street, 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms, 1,576 Sq. Ft. with an 800 Sq. Ft. (Deck/Porch). A professional real estate appraisal will be performed prior to the transfer of ownership to the winner. If at least 100,000 tickets/donations have been made by the April 6, 2010, the winner will have the option to accept $1,500,000 in cash or the house. In the event that a minimum of 100,000 tickets are not sold by April 6, 2010, the winner will be awarded an alternate cash prize equal to 35% of the gross raffle ticket proceeds. If at least 100,000 tickets are purchased prior to April 6, 2010, the decision to accept the house or cash must be made within 10 days of the winner being notified. Transfer of ownership of the property will occur no later than 30 days from the decision of the raffle drawing winner. The property owner will transfer to the winner free-and-clear and absent of any liens or encumbrances.

Odds:
The maximum odds are 1 in 125,000.

Eligibility:
Raffle tickets must be issued in the name of individuals. No tickets shall be issued in the name of charitable or non-charitable entities, corporations or organizations. This drawing is open to all U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older at the time of ticket purchase. All employees and immediate family members (defined as spouse, IRS dependent, or step-biological mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, or son) of employees, directors, officers, board members or organizers including the sponsoring organization, marketing partners and affiliates and the property owner shall be excluded from this drawing and are not eligible to participate. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. No mechanically or electrically reproduced entries will be accepted. Void where prohibited. Tickets which are void where prohibited are refundable to ticket holder.

Entry:
Raffle tickets are available online at www.BeachRaffle.org for a suggested minimum donation of $50.00. Each entry must include a valid email address, full legal name, phone number, and physical mailing address. Donations and ticket requests can also be submitted by mail to Raffle Entry at the Boys & Girls Clubs, 306 Laura Lee Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32301. Mailed requests must include a cashier's check, money order or personal check written to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend. Each entry must include the following information: donor's name, address, phone number and e-mail address. The request must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope and a copy of the donor's state-issued photo identification. One ticket will be issued for each $50.00 donation received. Tickets and payment confirmation will be sent electronically by e-mail. Donations are not tax deductible.

The sponsoring organization reserves the right to disqualify false entries or entries suspected of being false, and any illegible, defective, incomplete or physically altered entry forms, and entries that do not include valid or complete payment. The sponsoring organization is not responsible for printing errors in any raffle-related materials; for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered mail; or for any other failure to receive orders or deliver receipts prior to the contest deadlines. All entries become the property of the sponsoring organization and will not be returned.

Refunds:
All donations are final. No refunds will be issued.

Drawing:
The Seaside Home Raffle will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend, 306 Laura Lee Avenue, Tallahassee, Florida. The raffle is open to the public and will be supervised by a Florida licensed CPA firm The raffle drawing and announcement of the winner will also be webcast live and made available for replay at www.BeachRaffle.org. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.

Notification:
The sponsoring organization will notify the winner by telephone, certified mail and e-mail. The winner will also be announced on our website. Winner has 10 calendar days to contact the raffle's sponsor, the Boys & Girls Clubs, and accept the prize by signing the Certificate of Acceptance that will be provided 24 hours after the drawing. Requests for a printed copy of contest results must be received within seven days of the drawing and include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Acceptance of Prize:

Photo identification, taxpayer identification number and other identification information, including a sworn and signed affidavit of acceptance and required IRS documentation, will be required to validate prize and transfer property to prize winner. The value of prize will be reported to the taxing authorities and any taxes due will be the responsibility of the winner.
Entry constitutes permission to use the winners name and appearance on pictures or video for publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.

Acceptance of the prize in the name of the winner is not required. The winner may assign his winning ticket and the property to a third party if written request is submitted by winner and received by the sponsoring organization at least two weeks prior to closing date, and assuming that the third party is agreeable to the offer. Property is delivered As-Is and without warranty. All federal, state and local taxes associated with receipt or use of prize, including without limitation all applicable sales, use, luxury, income and special taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Please check with your accountant, CPA, or tax attorney with any questions you may have regarding your responsibilities after winning the prize. This property has been an income property. The winner must honor all prior vacation rental agreements disclosed by the rental property manager at the time of property transfer. All income produced after the winner takes possession of said property will be distributed to the winner as the owner in the rental agreement.

Sponsoring Organization:
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend of 306 Laura Lee Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32301 is in full compliance of the provisions of section 849.0935, Florida Statute and 26 U.S.C Section 501(c) (3). A minimum of 20% of the gross income will be used to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend and their programs/services. Established in 1992 to help curb youth crime and delinquency, we offer area kids ages 5 to 18 a positive place to go after school, where they can grow personally and academically in a safe and structured environment. Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend serves more than 7,000 kids at 11 Clubs locations in Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson and Leon Counties in Florida through programs and activities that provide a compelling alternative to drugs, crime, gang activity and other negative influences affecting youth today.

General Terms and Conditions:
Participants are bound by these Official Rules and Regulations. The sponsoring organization is not responsible for injuries or damages of any kind arising in connection with, or as a result of, the winner's acceptance or use of any prize issued to the winner of a raffle or event. No purchase or donation is necessary. While a minimum $50.00 donation is suggested, eligible individuals are entitled to one raffle entry per family at no cost. Requests for an entry without a donation must be submitted by mail to Raffle Entry, 306 Laura Lee Avenue, Tallahassee, Florida 32301 and include a handwritten, 3 X 5 postcard stating the name, address, phone number and e-mail address of the individual requesting the entry. The request must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope and a copy of the individual's state-issued photo identification.

By entering the raffle, each participant releases the sponsoring organization, the organization's directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind. There are no representations or warrantees other than as set forth in the Official Rules and Regulations. Each ticket holder agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and Regulations and to hold the management company and sponsoring organization harmless in any dispute arising over any oral or written representations concerning the charity.
